Direct Applied Behavior Analysis Therapy

At AOE, we believe in the power of ABA therapy to create meaningful change while celebrating your child’s individuality. Using proven, research-backed methods, we help increase important skills and reduce maladaptive behaviors, all while fostering an environment where your child can truly thrive. ABA therapy is a cornerstone of our approach because of its proven effectiveness in addressing a wide range of needs and its ability to be tailored to each child’s unique strengths.

Whether at home, school, in the community, or in our clinic, AOE delivers compassionate, individualized support that helps your child reach their fullest potential. Because every child deserves the chance to grow and succeed in their own way.

Parent Training

We believe parents are the most important part of a child’s support team. Our parent training program gives you the tools, strategies, and confidence to help your child thrive at home and beyond. Using evidence-based techniques rooted in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), we work alongside you to address challenges, build routines, and strengthen communication. Whether you’re navigating meltdowns, encouraging independence, or teaching new skills, we’ll guide you every step of the way with compassion and practical support.  We offer parent training sessions that can be customized for individual needs or provided in a group setting at a more affordable cost.  Because when parents feel empowered, kids flourish.

Sleep Training

Sleep challenges are common in children—especially those with autism—and can take a toll on the entire family’s wellbeing. At AOE, we understand how vital healthy sleep is for your child’s development, behavior, and overall quality of life. Our team uses proven, research-based sleep training techniques to help with common issues like difficulty falling asleep, frequent night waking, short sleep duration, and trouble sleeping independently. With compassionate support and personalized plans, we work closely with families to create lasting bedtime routines that promote better sleep—for your child and for you. Because every child deserves a peaceful night—and every parent does too.

Social Skills Groups

Our social skills groups are designed to help children of all ages connect, communicate, and grow—together. Each group is thoughtfully organized by age and developmental level to ensure the best fit for your child. Through engaging activities like circle time, arts and crafts, imaginative play, and free play, children learn to take turns, share, express their thoughts, and build friendships—all in a supportive, structured environment led by experienced professionals.

We nurture each child’s individuality while teaching essential social and communication skills that last a lifetime. Give your child the tools to thrive—socially, emotionally, and beyond.

Classroom setting ABA Therapy

Our classroom-based ABA program is designed to help children build essential social and communication skills in a fun, structured, and supportive environment. Through small group activities, peer interaction, and personalized support—including AAC and vocal communication—we teach kids how to express themselves, make friends, and participate confidently in a classroom setting.

Families also have the option to collaborate with their IEP teams to explore shortened school days—making room for this critical therapy without overwhelming their child.  Watch your child grow socially and emotionally—one interaction at a time.

Nutrition and Exercise Counseling

At AOE, we believe that nutrition and physical activity are often overlooked but essential components of behavioral health. We view them as two of the most effective tools for improving both behavior and overall development. By incorporating balanced nutrition and an active lifestyle into our approach, we help children regulate behaviors, improve focus, and build a foundation for long-term success.

Nutrition and exercise are not just an addition—they’re key to unlocking your child’s potential.

Children, especially those with autism, can often be very selective eaters, and physical activity can sometimes be a challenge. However, proper nutrition and regular exercise play a crucial role in supporting healthy behaviors and enhancing a child’s ability to learn and grow.
